PAX 2009 Exhibitor List Revealed
The organizers behind the 2009 iteration of Seattle's Penny Arcade Expo have unveiled the convention's official exhibitor list.
Almost all the big names in gaming are scheduled to appear at the show, including Nintendo, Microsoft, Sony, EA, Ubisoft and BioWare.
Specifically regarding those latter two firms, this morning's announcement claims PAX 2009 will include the "first live US demonstration of LucasArts' Star Wars: The Old Republic," as well as "demonstrations of Ubisoft's hottest titles, including Assassin's Creed II and Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Conviction."
The official release is certainly great news for the show's attendees, but we have to think its even better news for PAX creators Mike Krahulik and Jerry Holkins (aka Gabe and Tycho). What started less than a decade ago as a way for the duo to create a convention by and for gamers has become one of the industry's biggest annual events.
If this was a John Hughes movie, this would be like Ducky throwing a party attended by John Bender, Charlie Sheen and Duran Duran.
