Get a Behind-the-Scenes Look at the Escapist News Network

A new video posted by the gang at Escapist News Network [http://loadingreadyrun.com/] set, a painstaking and exhausting process involving plywood, styrofoam, t-shirts and even some lemons.

Have you ever wondered where the expensive, custom-built sets used by the Escapist News Network comes from? This stuff doesn't just build itself, you know. It requires the efforts of a dedicated and talented team with years of training and experience under its belt. Did you know that spray paint can melt styrofoam? I didn't, but the steady hands at LoadingReadyRun did. This isn't just nailing stuff to other stuff, people; this is hardcore arts and crafts.

Luckily for us, we can now go behind-the-scenes to witness the actual creation of the world-famous ENN backdrop. It's an impressive look at how a bunch of miscellaneous crapola was turned into a professional-looking set and the people who made it happen. Check it out for yourself on YouTube [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZIrJtl2JIU0&feature=player_embedded]!

Oh, Graham you sexy bearded fellow. Funny even when you're not trying to be. And handsome. And strong.

...are we related?

No, no you're not.
Hurt my feelings why don't you! :(

[sup]I just realised, my beards never grow that epic. Maybe we're distant cousins at least?[/sup]

"That looks so fucking pro."
Great line.
Word for word what I was going to say!
but maybe a more appraising word than 'Great' line

So, the people at LRR aren´t only goofy, they are also professionals. That´s...actually expected. It´s always wonderful to see people really getting into their work.

Thanks for your effort.

Looks great, it's nice to see the amount of work that goes into projects such as this so we all know how much it means to you all.

that's pretty cool

i did know that spray paint will melt styrofoam and it is rather amazing what props people use in film and tv are in real life, it's the magic of tv at work when you find out what they really are using

No kidding.
Once, years ago, I visited LA and toured the Sony Picture studio. I got to visit the set of Jeopardy, which, in real life, looks like the smallest, cheapest set you could imagine.
It seriously looks so much bigger on TV, and way less budget. But if you can get away with cheap, you do!

Also, there was a lady on the tour who honestly said, "I have died and gone to heaven, I am on the set of Jeopardy!" and I facepalmed.
