Get Decked Out in Assassin's Creed Replica Gear

Now you can officially cosplay as Altair and other characters from Assassin's Creed with this replica clothing and weaponry.

As discovered by Museum Replicas [http://kotaku.com/5381909/real+life-assassins-creed-weapons-seem-like-a-good-idea] is now offering Assassin's Creed replica clothing and weaponry that can be used to perform your very own real life assassinations (please do not actually assassinate anyone). If you're able to sneak up on someone while wearing Altair's hooded tunic, boots, belt, and vambraces, you'll be able to give your target the sweet release of death just like in the game (please do not actually give this to anyone).

Museum Replicas is even selling some weaponry to commit the foulest of deeds with (please do not actually perform foul deeds). The coolest is this Sword of Altair [http://www.museumreplicas.com/p-541-assassin-extension-knife.aspx] while you're at it, to complete the set.

For role-players, further on offer are the Lionheart Gambeson [http://www.museumreplicas.com/p-629-crusader-priest-robe.aspx], and other garb of characters besides Altair from Assassin's Creed. If you really want to live out the game, you'll have to convince your prey to put those on too (please do not convince prey).

This stuff is a little expensive, but not priced all that high compared to other types of replica gear. Please, readers, if you're planning to go all Mega64 [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=20QBe43tyVM] on unsuspecting strangers, leave the blades at home. On second thought, don't purchase them at all; I'll probably get blamed for the inevitable murder and I enjoy my freedom too much.

I got to get me one of those costumes. :D
I don't see why anyone would want to dress up as a crusader Priest when Altair is on the menu.
I can't beleive that I just realised how silly looking he looks when he's walking in the game. XD

...I want the hidden blade.

I could go as this for Halloween!
If I could pay for it all, which I can't. Bummer.

I'm gonna save up for the hidden blade, though.

Wow, um, why is there all this love for Assassin's Creed? It was innovative and fun, but the huge amounts of dialogue and unskippable cutscenes ruined it. I kinda thought most people didn't care for it.
OT: Making your own costumes is funner than just buying them, but if you're strapped for time I guess this is acceptible.

I am buying this entire set as soon as I have the money. (Provided I can get a straight answer on what exact kind of steel they're using, it's pretty vague)

"Innovative and fun"... kinda answered your own question there. And the unskippable dialogue and cutscenes, whilst annoying sometimes, were hardly game breaking (at all).

They look nice and all, but the problem I find with most replica gear is that they're too clean. They need to show some wear and tear, or dirt. Something to make them more realistic looking.

I enjoyed the way this article was written. Very funny.

That'd be some kickass Hallowe'en costume. And maybe end all the threads asking about Hallowe'en costumes.

Because many of us like dialog. Even for the people who didn't, it was hardly game-breaking, and the rest of the game was, as you pointed out, innovative and fun.
