Get Your Shred On With Koopa Troopa Guitar

Mario doesn't just murder his enemies by stomping their skulls, he also turns them into musical instruments.

A poster on Reddit [http://www.reddit.com/r/gaming/comments/ak42b/my_friend_made_an_electric_guitar_that_looks_like/] recently decided to show off his friend's hand-crafted Koopa Troopa shaped guitar. As you can see, this thing is no joke, and he's got the pictures to prove it. I would gander that its creator, only known on Reddit as SpatulaMaster, could sell this thing for a pretty penny if he chose to.

God forbid that a reader of this site doesn't know what a Koopa Troopa is, but just in case, it's one of Mario's most iconic enemies. Along with the Goomba, you'd be hard pressed not to find one in every Mario game. SpatulaMaster may also have plans to turn an amp into a question mark block, an idea which I can't even handle due to awesomeness. He wrote in the Reddit comments that he could be convinced to custom build one of these axes for somebody, if he/she paid him enough and was patient.

This begs the question: what kind of song should a Koopa Troopa guitar primarily play? The main tune for Super Mario Bros. seems to favor the piano, so that's out. There's always this:

Seems like a match made in dead turtle heaven to me!

I want nothing more than to play that tune on a real guitar in that shape.

I think I'd actually learn guitar just for having that Koopa guitar...

Looks kinda uncomfortable, it's probably more of a eyecandy thing than practical.

That said, I wouldn't hesitate to bust out some tunes on it. The satisfaction would be overwhelming.

Epic, but that's a left-hander axe, and Dry Bones is cooler.
is it a left hander? i can't watch the video on this stupid work computer, and while the turtle looks to be in the position for it to be a left hander, the knobs, switch and strings in the pic look like it's a right hander

I think it's a right-hander, when you play it the Koopa should be upside down.

All in all pretty awesome, but it looks reeeaaally uncomfortable to play. Do not want.

Why? Why an upside down Koopa? That's just mean.
Yeh poor Koopa, but look at the strings, you can see from them that it should sit on its back, looks alot more comfortable for your leg that way too. Can also tell from the hole for the whammy bar.

Seriously though, I agree with just about everyone in the world when I say.. do want!

I don't know, Daniel Floyd's been using a good example for a while.
