=| Oh internet, you're so predictable and shameful. Somewhat interesting read, if also kinda offensive that shit like this goes on. Granted, I always assumed as much, but he.

The final comment about the pink Wii was worth a mild chuckle though.

Your input actually changed my entire view of the article. Thank you for freeing my mind.

Erm, are you saying he always disappoints?

Anyway, grammar-nazi-ism aside, a good read. If not mildly tragic.

Interesting read. I think it's worth mentioning that I had Nrrrd Grrrl playing in my head throughout the article.
The whole affair was a bit macabre - I could imagine that the guy could have a healthy career in another life as either a plastic surgeon or Dr. Frankenstein.

There are times I think that my feminism is being too much and that I should just give it up (my life is good, right?) and then I read something like this.

And who wants a pink Wii? Seriously, not a single one of my female friends decorates in pink. It would stand out like a sore thumb in any living room not especially decorated with the color pink in mind. But Generic Gamers Slaanesh idea is not half bad...

and suddenly i get why feminism still exists. i thought it was all a myth, like atlantis.
Whenever feminism and gaming are mentioned in tandem, I am reminded of when feminists were all up in Fat Princess's grill, resulting in a big flame war between Destructoid users and self-proclaimed feminists. I say "self-proclaimed", because many feminists have legitimate qualms about The Way Things Are. Most of these ones kinda didn't and had some serious misconceptions about the game. Although, the gamer trolls didn't really help issues either, to be completely honest.
