Bay Goes From Transformers to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

The man known for putting Megan Fox on the map is hoping he can bring four ass-kicking turtles to the same level.

In a deal ironed out this week, Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon have brought in Michael Bay's Platinum Dunes production company to reboot the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise. In opposition to 2007's TMNT, which used computer-generated turtles, Bay's film is presumed to be based on the 1990s live-action Turtles films. For now, Bay is only in the producer's seat.

Bay is recently known for directing the Victoria's Secret models [http://www.amazon.com/Transformers-Shia-Labeouf/dp/B000VR0570/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1276551673&sr=1-1] to cast the upcoming movie, he's producing remakes of horror films, such as April's A Nightmare on Elm Street. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is a new kind of reboot project for Bay's company, seeing as how it probably won't involve horrific murder.

Nickelodeon acquired the global rights to the entire Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise in October for $60 million, and now hopes to make some of that green back by bringing the green to the big screen. The first Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles live-action movie was released in 1990 and was a massive success. The two subsequent sequels weren't quite as successful, but great scene [http://www.amazon.com/Teenage-Mutant-Ninja-Turtles-II/dp/B0000696I0/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1276551704&sr=1-1] featuring Vanilla Ice.

If Bay brings Ice back, the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film would be an assured success. And hey, why not cast Megan Fox as April O'Neil?

If he follows suit from his attempt at Transformers then we'll get a film mostly about April trying to get a date with some man.

Michael Bay and these type of movies don't go too great together, although I did enjoy both Transformers, to an extent.

Wait. They already Rebooted the movie. And it has it's own continiuty no less. Although it has been awhile. Maybe he will pick up where they left off. That might be fun. And hey. No one can debate that the ninja turtles are about camp one liner jokes with action being a secondary notion (old cartoon not new one or the comics). So hey. Why not?

Dear god no. The last thing I want is Megan Fox trying to act as April O'Neil. Let the franchise die and start creating something new.
Franchise did die in turles forever. Also megan won't be in it due to the same reason she won't be in transformers 3.

That would be terrible. There isn't much left to be ravaged after the third movie, but assuredly Micheal Bay would find a way to humiliate the little there is left.

Probably Casey Jones. Played by the older male equivalent of Shia LaBouf.
Or just some random man.

I think this link is completely 100% appropriate under the circumstances.

Screw you Michael Bay. I don't need anyone damaging my childhood memories more than they already have been. Leave TMNT alone, damnit!

EDIT: This works too.

This also works.

For the above video, please note:

Balrog = Michael Bay

TMNT again?? woooot.
The turtles have always been huge....and kids love em.....but ye...im not sure i agree bay is the right guy for this....he will make the movie too flashy and and thats not the style of the ninjas.
But he is only a producer for now...so will need more info.
