Nintendo Kicks Off Wii "Olympics" Next Month
Nintendo has announced its Summer 2010 Wii Games, which are kind of like the Olympics but with waggling a game controller instead of grueling tests of athleticism.
Say what you want about Nintendo's strategy for online gaming this generation (hint: it sucks), but the Wii does make for some very entertaining offline multiplayer, particularly when people are inebriated. There may not be alcohol involved, but Nintendo will be taking full advantage of the Wii's party-friendly multiplayer with a fierce US-wide competition this summer.
