Michael Jackson's Plants vs. Zombies Replacement Found

PopCap has removed the star of Thriller from Plants vs. Zombies and replaced him with the star of Saturday Night Fever.

After PopCap PC Gamer [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/news/view/102400-Michael-Jackson-Estate-Forces-Removal-of-Plant-Eating-Zombie] sure can dance, just not as well as Jackson could in the 1980s.

The new disco zombie is as packed with disco-themed accessories as it possibly could be. With tinted glasses, a massive afro and sideburns, a gold chain, a poofy shirt unbuttoned halfway down, bell-bottomed white pants, and platform aquarium shoes that house a dead goldfish, this zombie was probably a huge party guy before he became one of the undead.

A member of PopCap told PC Gamer: "I confirm that there is in fact a new 'disco zombie' (see image attached) and I would really appreciate if you could 'be nice to the new guy'...the disco zombie is starting to feel like a second class zombie citizen, which is really unfair considering the length of time he spent doing his hair!"

When you've got an eternity, I suppose you really can style an afro to perfection. The new disco zombie will appear in all future versions of Plants vs. Zombies so that PopCap doesn't get frivolously sued into oblivion.

At least the replacement seems to be decent. I wonder if the Jackson zombie in "Infectionator" will also have to be removed...

Actually looks a quite good replacement...interesting to see Popcap put effort into it.

So, they just backed down and replaced him? Kinda sad.
It's not worth it to try and fight just so they can keep a silly character in the game. They could either keep a character in the game and risk being sued or play it safe and just change it.

Oh, I guess it hasn't changed in the PC version yet or something? My iTouch version was updated days ago (maybe even a week) with this guy...

I like it. I will miss the Thriller Zombie, but a disco zombie with a dead fish in its shoe is a great replacement.

Where the fuck is the Prince Zombie? I'd like to see him whine about the internet when he's in the same state his career is in.

Disco Stu is gonna sue.

What? That's what came to mind in regards to this new design. Otherwise, I really have no opinion on the matter, nothing polite anyways.

EDIT:

Wow... practically at the same time.

I have nothing against the new guy, I have everything against why they are being forced to add it. I've set my PvZ on Steam to never update.

Should've been a Ronnie James Dio zombie.
That'd actually be pretty awesome, he shuffles forward a bit, gives the horns and summons up four metalheads to crush the plant resistance!
