After watching the teaser for the new X-Men movie [http://www.apple.com/trailers/fox/x3/], I really think Marvel Films just needs to be honest with us and themselves. Just call the movie "Wolverine and a bunch of other mutants". That's basically what the comics have been since the mid-90's anyway. Wolverine slicing people up, while Magneto messes with his adamantium skeleton, and Rebecca Romaijn runs around in blue body paint. 93 minutes of that = 300 million dollar domestic gross. I'm happy that they feel it necessary to include the rest of the Mutant Brotherhood, and the X-Men, but they are just there for merchandising purposes.
When the only character from this trilogy who will be featured in a solo story is announced, that's when the real reason for the X-Men to even continue to be interesting will finally be acknowledged.
