Long story short, I guess Sony was smart to skip e3 cause their people dodged this bullet but yeah, apparently the private info of all of these people has been up since e3 happened this year and was only recently taken down after this journalist informed them of it being up.

Are journalists celebrities? I know TV media personalities are, sure, but Rachel Maddow isn't a journalists - her staff are. She's a talkshow host that does a bunch of news stories, researched, written and produced by other people.

Well, there also has been a Alt-right targeting of journalists, doxxing whoever they feel is 'biased'.

But I was more talking about random YouTubers who have less than 100k subs and still get doxxed. I dont know if Yongyea falls under that either. But I don't count him as much of a journalist. He continually makes mountains out of molehills.

How much of this is secret/private, and how much of this is just someone claiming to have been doxed, when no one cared to care in the first place?

I dunno if you'd call a youtuber a "celebrity" or what if any meaningful distinction is there between some of the bigger ones and the celebrities of yore. I'm pretty sure Pewdiepie has way more fans than a ton of people we'd count as celebrities.


Either way, still not ok to dox these folks, whatever their fame status may be.

Yeah that's too close to an event that shall not be named. A bunch of women were said to be doing the same thing there too.

I am killing this thread because there is a dangerous amount of doxxing resulting from this.

People's lives and safety are being endangered because of this. This is a security issue.
