I worked for a retail non-video gaming store, we carried lots of old D&D, SPI games, Mayfair games, that sort of thing. I could tell you about my experiences of having to tell everybody that we don't carry videogames

i had to sell video games for a crappy chain of denver stores at the friggin flea market on weekends.
Trying to pawn off all the multiple used copies of like... madden 99 for n64.
ugh.
and the store itself was across the street from a high school, so all the "cool" kids would loiter away ever lunch break harassing us and eating pizza on the floor.
