Whatever, just wash your hands.
We are still a few days away from the end of the Steam xmas sale but most people have probably grabbed most of what they want. So its time for the damage report, who got what?

I got
Shantae: Half-Genie Hero Ultimate
Fission Superstar X
Princess & Conquest
Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom
A Plague Tale:Innocence
Catmaze
Rain of Reflections
Epido
MO:Astray
and
Yuku's Island Express

So far I still haven't installed most of them since I'm trying to finish up Bloodstained: Ritual of the night before I get into a game like it. But both Fission Superstar X and Rain of Reflections are quite good. I like the art in Princess & Conquest but its kinda hard to get into and plays kinda clunky.

Received Starbound and Ni No Kuni 2. This naturally means that I turned around and got Starbound for the friends I'd played Terarria with. Should be fun to get back in the swing of it with them.

Only thing I bought was Golf with your Friends, for... me and my friends. And that was just for Christmas. The fact steam was doing a sale didn't even register for me.

EDIT:

Shank 1 & 2. I have these on 360, but I didn't mind getting them for $2 a piece. That's a steal.

Double Dragon Neon - I bought earlier last week during the sale. I have the 360 version, but for some reason, it and some other games don't work anymore. And act as if I never bought them.

Blood Rayne Betrayal - $2.49. Never played it on release, aside from the demo once. Fun game so far. Also done by Wayforward. It's Blood Rayne meet Devil May Cry meets Castlevania. The story is ignore-able.

Steam sales have really gone downhill... or maybe I'm getting better with money. Because I barely bought squat here, just like in the summer. I only got one new game, just bought some missing DLC for Cities: Skylines.

The game was The Last Door. Suppose to be a pretty fun point n' click game set in a Lovecraft style universe. Sounds cool and was pretty cheap. So why not?

I don't buy much from steam sales anymore because I already have most of what I want, or I already got it from GOG.com, or I just decided it's not worth my time and money right now.

I rather liked the Last Door. It looks weirdly retro(like an early Sierra adventure game from 1990ish) but it has some good atmosphere. The puzzles are a bit obtuse, sadly, and pixel hunting is a thing in some places.

It is one of the better Lovecraft adaptations I've played, mostly because it doesn't try to just crib the Shadow over Innsmouth yet again, with some Poe and David Lynch tossed in for good measure. Hell, there's at least a small nod to Arthur Machen and Robert W. Chambers in there as well.

After hearing Yahtzee singing the praises of the Yakuza series I bought a game. Yakuza 0. I would have liked to try an earlier game in the series, but to my dismay (and Yahtzee didn't ever bring it up) its mostly a console exclusive series. Normally I won't play a game in a series unless I have played the predecessors, but 0 is a prequel... loophole. And it was 7 bucks, thanks Steam sale.

Nothing this year, actually. These past years I don't buy that many games to begin with and rarely (directly) from Steam anymore, preferring either GOG if that's an option or buying keys from outlets like Humble or GMG.
