Announcing the Launch of Name Game Today!

You loved it, and we listened: Name Game will begins its run as a feature comic today!

We're proud to announce the launch of Name Game as its own feature comic, right here on The Escapist. Starting today, you can get a weekly fix of Elisa "LeeLee" Scaldaferri's hysterical retail insights.

Name Game began its run at The Escapist back in May as part of the Sunday Funnies. Not surprisingly, it was incredibly popular--so popular that we knew we couldn't just run it every other weekend. With that in mind, please help us welcome Name Game to The Escapist's Web Comics array!

Catch Name Game every Thursday, and don't forget to check out Critical Miss [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/articles/view/comics/stolen-pixels] on Tuesdays and Fridays.

Yes, I like this.
Now, you should add escapist radio theater, and then have a comic on almost every day of the week. Good choice in comic though.

Seriously?

No offense to miss Scaldeferri who I am sure is a lovely and hysterical person, but the one note "lolretailisbad" jokes get slightly stale and the art burns my face.

I strongly approve of this. Name Game was my favourite entry to the comic contest.

Good on you, Escapist, and congratulations to Elisa!

Interestingly they've covered more than just retail so far, but it's a decent web comic. I can't say I understand what you mean about the art either

I must be honest, I don't care for the humor nor the art style. Yet, that is my own opinion and shouldn't be taken with more than a grain of salt.

Well, I was going to send a heartfelt congrats, but this douche already said it better than I!

Jk @ahiddenfigure, you're not a douche ;-) But, in all seriousness, I enjoyed the name game better than any of the others in the Sunday funnies (followed by a close Paused)

For clarification, the Sunday Funnies is done - the other three comics will not be returning. Name Game was far and away the fan favorite, which is what earned it the spot in our regular roster.

Array of comics... expanding... let's get Manly Guys Doing Manly Things back on board!

Also, congrats. Name Game was the only one from the Sunday Funnies that I really read. I enjoy the art style etc etc

I was afraid of that.

I'm gonna miss Bumhug Parade and Escapist Radio Theatre. Especially ERT, that one was really going somewhere. Not that Bumhug wasn't, it'd just be better suited outside the confines of Escapism (u c wut i did thar). Here's to hoping they both head in Manly Guys doing Manly Things' direction and become their own site. Hell, I'd read 'em.

Regardless, congrats to miss Scaldaferri for her newly featured comic!
