Kill the Iranian President For Laughs in The Fall of Ahmadinejad

Get ready to "die with laughter" as you embark on a riotous, knee-slapping mission to assassinate the leader of a sovereign nation in the uproarious new comedy-shooter Durka 3D: The Fall of Ahmadinejad.

Developed by Petrilla Entertainment, the company behind the satirical side-splitters Quest for Al-Qa'eda and Quest for Saddam, The Fall of Ahmadinejad is a "more sophisticated" game than its predecessors but still features the same rollicking comedy that helped the previous games become "smash hits." Described as a "truly new kind of videogame," the fast-paced shooter puts players on the trail of the elected head of the Iranian state, rewarding successful gameplay with "hysterical one-liners and outrageous scenes."

Players will run into a wide array of surprise gags and incisive witticisms as they face off against the Revolutionary Guard, such as crates labeled "Not a crate destined for Iraqi insurgents" and missiles saying, "Made in Russia." Not only that, but enemies in battle will hurl insults at you in gibberish, although whether it's actual gibberish or just not American is unclear.

"Durka 3D goes beyond the politics surrounding the conflict," said Petrilla Entertainment founder Jesse Petrilla. "I created Durka 3D to attack a tyrant with Saturday Night Live [http://www.nbc.com/Saturday_Night_Live/] type satire to relieve some of the stress many of us share."

Where to begin? I think it's safe to say that very little about this game will be funny except perhaps the idea that comedy can come from an idea with about as much satirical depth and value as Hitler up in powered armor [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nikolai_Volkoff] and nobody seemed to care much about that. But he'd also been dead for 50 years and somewhat discredited as a political figure, whereas Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is still holding the reins in Iran. Oh, what a quandary.

Or maybe it'll be funny as hell. It'll cost you ten bucks to find out at durka3d.com [http://www.durka3d.com/].

It just doesn't seem worth my time to me. Just turn on your least favorite news caster, mute it, then play the music of a singer you don't like.
Newscasters are suprisingly good at lypsincing.

Really? I've only ever faked their conversations while they're muted or at the end when they're pretending to talk as the camera zooms out.

Meh. Doesn't seem like it will be that entertaining. And I don't want to keep playing the 'disrespectful card' and I know it's sattire but it seems as if it's trying to be outrageous for some sales.

I never heard of any of the previous "smash hits" either. >_>

Err... what? Who cares? Games like this have been made for a while, and I doubt that many have purchased them. Those who have subscribe to a different definition of humor than me.

Yah, I get the same vibe from it. It's using the same marketing ploy Eminem uses: "I'm edgy, because I'm insensitive and I don't care who I piss off."

I fail to see how this game would sell.

That said, I don't see anything wrong with taking out the tyrant that is currently leading Iran. If I had the ability to do so, like the thread earlier about murdering someone with no consequences, I would most certainly kill him.

Charging me 10 bucks for a game that looks like it was made 12 years ago? Fat fucking chance.

TYRANT:
1 a: an absolute ruler unrestrained by law or constitution b: a usurper of sovereignty
2 a: a ruler who exercises absolute power oppressively or brutally b: one resembling an oppressive ruler in the harsh use of authority or power

MAHMOUD AHMADINEJAD:
became president on August 6, 2005, after winning the 2005 presidential election.[3] Ahmadinejad became the first president of the Islamic Republic in twenty-four years who was not a religious cleric.[4] Despite his title, he is not the most powerful official in Iran; that role belongs to the Supreme Leader of Iran, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, according to Article 113 of Constitution of Iran. [5] Prior to becoming president, Ahmadinejad was mayor of Tehran and governor general of Iran's Ardabil Province.

It would have been an outrage if it was aimed at killing Bush or the Israeli PMs ... lol

No it wouldn't. If there were a game aimed at killing bush, it would be a best-seller, both internationally and in the US.
I want that game so bad...

I'm not going to hop on the 'OMG its gonna offend Ahmadinejad!' bandwagon, since he does a good job at trying to offend everyone else anyway, even his own countrypeople and culture. Calling him a tyrant is an ignorant statement, since he is only the mouthpiece (and he does that REAL well) for the actual Iranian government.
Interesting that Hitler was brought up as an object of a silly game(albeit Wolfenstein 3D is probably better playing than this thing which I am not wasting money on), as, and I understand this is comparing oranges to tomatoes, but Charlie Chaplin did an awesome satire on Adolf Hitler, and though we never got his review on the movie, Adolf actually watched 'The Great Dictator' twice.
I would play a game where you chased after W throwing shoes at him....if it was freeware.

Its a shame the nearest so far has been only the 'Throw the shoe at Bush' webgame, heh.

Although bizzairely, Bush is apparently very popular in Africa for various reasons, like increasing aid to the developing nations, and critising the Dafar situation. He's still a fuckwit though.

I've researched a lot about this tyrant. Wikipedia is not a reliable source, not in this case. Ahmadinejad is the real leader of Iran, in that what he says represents the Iranian government's stance. I'm not sure if you are American or not, but people who live in modern-day democracies many times cannot fathom a government that is so in control of everything that they can pretty much do whatever they want with impunity. Like rigging the 2005 election.

I actually mean tyrant in generic terms, just as an insult, however 2b fits Ahmadinejad perfectly. Thanks for the definition, now I know he is an actual tyrant. Here are the reasons why I would take him out if I had the chance, (of course, it would probably not do very much good, since another tyrant and extremist would just take over. I was simply approaching it on the "no consequences" clause):

He called Israel a Zionist state, and said that "the Zionists regime should disappear from the earth," take that how you will. He then has the audacity to claim that Israel is the racist state, (the UN walked out on him for that). http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/world/middle_east/article6136165.ece and http://www.jihadwatch.org/archives/012156.php
He has called Israel a stinking corpse. http://www.jpost.com/servlet/Satellite?cid=1209627040670&pagename=JPost%2FJPArticle%2FShowFull
He has said that we are in the middle of a War between the "world of arrogance,"- the West- and Iran. http://www.memri.org/bin/articles.cgi?Area=sd&ID=SP101305&Page=archives
He denies that the Holocaust ever happened. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle_east/4527142.stm
He has continued to refuse to cease producing nuclear weapons. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2009/05/25/AR2009052500770.html
He and his regime are funding many of the terrorists we, (America), are currently having to deal with in Iraq. http://defense-update.com/newscast/0107/analysis/analysis-300107.htm
He has publicly said that there are no gays in Iran. (This is because many of them have been executed, according to Amnesty International.) http://afp.google.com/article/ALeqM5hATGOzv6YSmgeMY1zdYbdpyrG2cw
He is currently threatening his political rivals with government action if they do not cease to attack his image, (there is an election on June 12). http://www.monstersandcritics.com/news/middleeast/news/article_1479035.php/Ahmadinejad_rejects_rivals_criticisms_threats_to_retaliate_
