The Humble Indie Bundle Comes to Steam

Gamers tired of horsing around with multiple installers can now activate the Humble Indie Bundle on Steam [http://store.steampowered.com], and it looks like another Bundle deal is coming for the holidays.

Back in May, five independent game developers got together to put World of Goo, Aquaria, Gish, Lugaru and Penumbra Overture into million dollars [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/news/view/100451-Get-Five-Great-Indie-Games-for-Any-Price-You-Want] raised, including more than $350,000 for charity.

There was just one problem: It's five separate games, with five separate installers, and in today's fast-paced, "give me convenience or give me death" world, that's a whole lot of hassle. But no longer! The Humble Bundlers put their heads together with click here [http://www.valvesoftware.com/] if you haven't done it before) and you're off to the races.

You can't actually buy the bundle over Steam; the offer is only available to people who picked it up during the original sale period back in May. But fret not if you missed out on that deal fantastico, because it appears that Wolfire Games Blog [http://www.humblebundle.com/] to learn more.

To top it all off, you could even choose where your money went, directing it to the developers they made this catchy as hell trailer about it
The trailer and song was the best thing about it!

I loved the bundle, bought it twice. I'll buy their next selection in a heartbeat, hell I even subscribed for the beard shaving a while back. These guys have mad skills in little rhymes.

Well, it's not like installing five separate games rather than only one would kill you.

Amazing!!, this is what I wanted!, the only thing missing is a key or something to activate my copy of the Penumbra Collection, wich I bought after the Humble Pack back in May, but other than that... now I have achievements for Aquaria!

My Steam games list just got a bit bigger thanks to my well spent cent =)

Just activated it! I was not expecting that email at all. It's funny though, as I was cleaning up my computer and saw the folder I had put all the games in and was contemplating deleting it and just downloading them again when I wanted to. This saves me a lot of trouble.

Note: no, Wolfire didn't pay anything to Valve, and no, the next Humble Bundle won't be a Steam-exclusive. Seems likely they'll throw in a Steam key at some point in the next bundle, however.

Yeah, I purchases the Bundle a while back ago on the first day, don't really remember how much but I curse every friggin' pirate out there pirating their games for so called "Nobility" or "Justice".

Either way, I recieved my key yesterday. I just need to download it from Steam. We will see.
I bought the Humble Bundle early on too... but instead of constantly cursing pirates, I just enjoy the games.

Is their playing it without paying really impacting your enjoyment of the games that much? If so, seek help.

Actually, to those that bought the bundle, you just type in the email you used for it on the site, and you should get your key back, which is usable on Steam. That's what I did, and I've been enjoying Gish all over again.

I activated this on steam 2 days ago. It was a very pleasant surprise really. I started playing Gish (It got bundled in the pack AFTER I bought it so I never downloaded it) and it's just awesome.
