Win Holiday Loot in The 12 Days of BioWare

It's The 12 Days of BioWare, which means that Treehouse Brand Stores [http://www.bioware.com] are giving away over 100 prizes ranging from hoodies and art packs to customized gaming PCs and a PlayStation 3.

Treehouse Brand Stores, in case you didn't know, provides a "turnkey solution" to companies looking to offer licensed and branded products to their customers through high-quality online stores. What's that mean? They're the people who operate the Psyko [http://biowarestore.com/] headsets, clothing, games and more.

The rules are simple. Go to The 12 Days of BioWare page [http://treehousebrandstores.com/contests/bioware-twelve-days-of-giveaways/] at the Treehouse Brand Stores website. Log in with your Facebook account and "like" the BioWare, Dragon Age and Mass Effect 2 Facebook sites; then connect with your Twitter account and follow the biofeed, dragonage and masseffect2 feeds. Links are provided to make things nice and easy and while you can opt for just Facebook or Twitter, signing in with both earns two entries instead of just one.

Draws will be made daily until December 22 - yes, we're a bit behind, but we just got the press release today. The contest is open to everyone, regardless of residency, but people who live outside the U.S. may end up on the hook for customs fees. For sweet swag like this, I'd say that's a fair trade. Good luck!

No prizes are worth signing up for twitter! I will not sink so low!

A custom painted N7 PS3 isn't worth my soul.

...ah, who am I kidding. Yeah it is. Signin' up!

All I have to do is like some crap on Facebook? And most of it is stuff I truly actually like? Hell yeah! Sure, I have a snowball's chance in hell to actually win anything, but crappy chances are still chances, and considering the whole thing took me a total of 2 minutes...

Like a lot of people here, I don't have Facebook or Twitter and am not too keen to do so. I could sign up just for the competition but if Bioware checked the profile and saw it was empty then they would rightfully assume it was made for the competition only.

The problem with that is they may assume that it's a fake profile from someone who has already entered.

Screw it, I'll take my chances.

EDIT: Oh Goddamn you! You cannot delete Facebook permanently, so now my account is re-activated and it still has all my damn details and friends, so now everyone will think I am back on the bloody thing.

This would be cool except the concept is based around social media.
I swear, if a game manufacturer makes a system so you can tweet every headshot I will never buy a game again.

Like people aren't gonna go and make a bunch of bullshit Facebook and/or Twitter accounts for this? [sarcasm]Oh no, not possible at all. Even if they did, Bioware, being SOOOO awesome and stuff, would check them all out personally, right? [/sarcasm]
And normal email registration would of course be much more secure in terms of multiple accounts? If people are going to register multiple facebook/twitter accounts, they're also going to need multiple emails as well, so it's an extra layer of hassle and work to do, unlike "normal" registration. Plus it's all so they can send out news updates on Facebook/twitter to people, instead of spamming up your email inbox.
