Look, as much as I hold Janeway dear for being a female captain, she sucked. She's a terrible leader and overthinks everything. If Kirk erred too much on the "act first/think about it later" side of things, she did exactly the opposite. The captain has to inspire the crew, they have to be willing to follow the captain into hell itself. Janeway was many things, but inspirational wasn't one of them.

Are the games we play and talk about not the predecessors of the holodeck everybody wants.
I met mortimer, fought Klingons and been to the past in a much higher resolution than the crew of the Enterprise :).

Was kidna disappointed no one chose Voyager for anything..
Exactly. What's with all the Picard fetish? Voyager is the best. I mean Janeway is the most badassest captain in Trek history. And she is a woman! I mean, she took the Borg head-on, took her crew home from the other side of the galaxy, domesticated a sexy drone, etc. :D You can't top that...
Exactly! I mean the others are good but she is far better. And you can't deny there was something between Janeway and Seven. She also had the best one liners ever
There's no denying that.

"A stranger is a friend you just haven't met yet."
"There's coffee in that nebula!"
"Mr. Kim, we're Starfleet officers. Weird is part of the job"
"At ease, Ensign, before you sprain something"
"Dimissed...That's Starfleet for "get out"!"

And there is no gay "Tea, Earl Grey, hot" there is only "Coffee, black!" :D

The thing with Seven of Nine is most awesome character development in any Star Trek series. The second awesomest is The Doctor. Or there are Tom Paris and Harry Kim. Just...awesome.

Great video, but why does everyone start off in nice clear voice and then trail off into a whisper when talking? Granted my speakers here at work suck.

Nerd extreme moment. Isn't the Cardassian in that clip played by David Warner aka Ed Dillinger from T.R.O.N.?
aka Jon Irenicus, the greatest villain in gaming history? Absolutely. I'd recognize his voice anywhere.

Oh god there's loads and they're so awesome

"One more cup and I'll jump to warp"
"Coffee: the finest organic suspension ever devised...I beat the Borg with it."

And yeah, Voyager easily had the deepest and most believable character progression. It was also way funnier than any other version It's a shame that it had to be Chakotay that Seven got together with in the end.. >.<

You people like Captain Janeway?... Fair enough.

However, you're not going to change my opinion on who I think is the best captain.

Quite frankly, Captain Jean-Luc Picard and Captain James Tiberius Kirk completely destroy her.

Captain Jean-Luc Picard: "There...Are...Four...Lights!"
Captain Jean-Luc Picard: "The line must be drawn here!"

Captain Jean-Luc Picard: I will not sacifice the Enterprise. We've made too many compromises already; too many retreats.
They invade our space and we fall back. They assimilate entire worlds and we fall back. Not again. The line must be drawn here!
This far, no further! And I will make them pay for what they've done!

Captain James T. Kirk: "Captain's log, stardate 9522.6: I've never trusted Klingons, and I never will.
I could never forgive them for the death of my boy. It seems to me our mission to escort the Chancellor
of the Klingon High Council to a peace summit is problematic at best. Spock says this could be an historic occasion,
and I'd like to believe him, but how on earth can history get past people like me?"

Actually. I think one of the best single lines in Star Trek history is spoken by Spock in The Undiscovered Country. In respond to Mr. Scott exclaiming, "...then we're dead!" Spock says, "I've been dead before."

How f*cking bad ass is that.

Also, I noticed me mumbling most of all. Unfortunately Russ is the only one with voice training and who practices it frequently. Susan's also pretty easy to hear. I, however, need to work on my enunciation and mumbling if I'm going to keep doing these things. ;)

I tend to trail off because I'm self conscious of being so loud. When I get enthusiastic about something, you can practically hear me in the next zip code. People think I'm angry a lot because my voice carries, but I just have a strong voice.

Oh boy. If there was one man I would have deliver my eulogy when I die, it's David Warner.

I know, right? I always thought Seven would get together with Harry, "All resistance is futile" style like what Harry was dreaming in that episode. And Chakotay will finally give in and get together with Janeway. Well, they almost did, when they contracted that alien virus, and had to be left behind on that planet.

Heh, and who doesn't want to have angry sex with B'Elanna? XD

And maybe its heresy, and goes against everything Trek, but I like Tuvok more than Spock.

I never got Star Trek. From watching "Fanboy" I'm guessing you're in for StarTrek or StarWars, then I'm in for StarWars as I've seen that.

I might be too young, because all I've seen was Next Generation and only couple of episodes.

I like both, for different reasons though;

That's ok -- I do, too. He's actually my favorite Vulcan. I do like T'pol, though.

I always wanted Seven to be with Janeway, or the Doctor. I always seen Chakotay and Janeway as more of a really close friendship thing. Yeah the alien virus thing was kinda supporting the whole romance between them but I think when two people who are close liek they are are in that situation then anything could happen.

"Heh, and who doesn't want to have angry sex with B'Elanna?" I totally second that.
I always thought B'Elanna and Tom had a great relationship too.

And it's not Heresy it's fact heh, I've always liked Tuvok more. He's just cooler

I like the Escapist a lot more after this.

I hear in America it's much more acceptable to like ST, not so in the UK, so its nice to see people admitting it on video :p

"The line must be drawn HERE!"

I am planning to become a teacher, purely so I can use Star Trek lines in the class.

I pray I have a student called Kahn...
