Your Bedroom's Not As Cool As This Kid's Portal Digs

When it comes to amazing childhood bedrooms, this Portal-themed setup is a tough act to follow.

There are days where I really resent that my parents weren't awesome gamers who decided to give me a truly amazing bedroom when I was a kid. Case in point: This adorable little boy just received a Portal-themed room that's almost guaranteed to be cooler than the ratholes we all go home to to sleep in.

Vector Farr - who has one of the best names ever - is the son of <a href=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_Farr>James Farr, the animator/director who's probably best known for the Xombie Flash cartoons. Farr decorated his son's bedroom to look like it's straight out of Aperture Laboratories, complete with orange propulsion gel, cake-themed wall scribbles, companion cubes, pressure buttons, and an actual GladOS camera.

As if that's not enough to make you melt with jealousy, it turns out that <a href=http://www.youtube.com/watch?annotation_id=annotation_20745&src_vid=QzJm6Cn8ye4&feature=iv&v=_63HRCfjkBw>Vector has a Portal bathroom, too. When I die, I want to come back as one of James Farr's kids.

Yeah the other room is a lot better in my opinion, but it looks as if the kid enjoys his room which is good.

I personally wouldn't describe it as "truly amazing", I mean the most impressive thing is the nightstand, the rest is just bought posters/plushies. Definitely could've been a bit more inventive with the stuff, also why is there a normal exit graphic on the wall...I guess the stick figure is in the same moving motion as the stick figure on the portal box, but it clearly is just an exit image and not a portal one....so yea the stuff is a bit of a stretch.

The kid's cute and the room's cool.

But I still like my room over his.

Why? Because only I could find my room awesome. Clothes, blankets, and random pieces of paper/old toys from my childhood all over the floor. It feels like home.

I think there might even be a piece of dog doo in there somewhere, which is the only reason I plan on cleaning my room tomorrow.

Something tells me my future girlfriends/room-mates are going to hate me not long after living with me.

No. No it's not. Though I would love to decorate a room like that once I get my own place. Maybe an office as opposed to a bedroom though. Now that would be pretty fun to do.
