If people pay ~10-15 dollars a month for WOW, im sure they could care less about 25 dollars.Metal Brother said:A fool and his money...
I can be a capitalist and a liberal :S They are not mutually exclusive, liberals are allowed to own things they like :SLimaBravo said:Strange your so easily manipulated by capitolist values given you claim elsewhere your a Liberal.spinFX said:Wow... If I were still playing World of Warcraft and were employed at the same time I would buy this... I just care so little for money.
But when it comes down to it just think what that $25 could get you... A great indie game, an aging classic game, a kick ass steak dinner.
It's kind of sad that I know I'd buy it despite the lack of value.
Don't blame them, blame the people that buy this superfluous stuff.Phenakist said:AMAZING, they can get lazy halfway through making an actual mount and just say "Ah fuck it lets make it translucent and give it shiny armor, which we'll just tweak some old armor models for" and rip a trillion people off in a second.
So Blizzard brainwashes people better than IW or Bethesda?Eremiel said:As a sidenote.. it's interesting how people hate on the MW2 Stimulus Pack and the Oblivion Horse Armor, yet praises Blizzard for this.
For 25 bucks it better give me a blowjob RL on command.John Funk said:When you think about it, the people who got the TCG items probably spent a whole lot more than $25 on their respective mounts.
Edit: Also, that thing looks cool as hell. Kinda want.
its a vanity item for crying out loud, they will never sell anything beyond vanity items.ASnogarD said:Can see Activisions influence seep into Blizzards WoW...
Was actually thinking of playing WoW again till I saw this, thanks ... saved me wasting money and time. To me what was great about seeing other players running about with fantastic items/mounts/weapons/etc etc at IF was the fact that I too could earn those items if I applied myself, now I can earn items by applying my credit card... wow, gee thanks.
Wont be long before the next set of amour comes at a real money cost too, to save the casual players that cant spend all that time in game earning it of course.
Balls, Bobby Kotick signed his name all over this...
... wonder how WAR is doing these days?
