The Tales From Dunwall Returns With "The Hand That Feeds"
Actually, if anything, "The Hand That Feeds" is even sadder than "The Awakening," the first Tales From Dunwall video that debuted yesterday [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/news/view/119784-Gather-Round-For-The-Tales-From-Dunwall]. Unlike Esmond Roseburrow, this boy had no hope, no future and no opportunity to rise above the squalor of his life. He had simply vengeance; but the Outsider's vengeance is a double-edged blade.
The Tales From Dunwall videos probably have no more connection to Dishonored than the Dead Island trailer [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/news/view/107826-Dead-Island-The-Best-Zombie-Game-Trailer-Ever] that made such a splash last year had to its source material, but I'm thoroughly enjoying them anyway. If nothing else, they do a fantastic job of setting the mood and gearing me up to do terrible things in a terrible place. I just hope the game can live up to the sky-high expectations all this marketing has generated.
The third and final part of Dishonored: The Tales From Dunwall will arrive tomorrow. Dishonored [http://www.amazon.com/Dishonored-Xbox-360/dp/B005C2D2MO/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1348670806&sr=8-1&keywords=Dishonored] itself comes out on October 9 for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.
