Joe Danger 2 Jumps to PSN

PSN's version of Joe Danger 2: The Movie will feature ten hours of extra content.

It's a bird! It's a plane! It's a suicidal knucklehead! No, wait, it's Joe Danger 2: The Movie [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/articles/view/editorials/reviews/9929-Joe-Danger-2-The-Movie-Review], the action racer currently on XBLA but now about to jump over to PSN. No word on exactly when, but Hello Games promises it will be soon; "like in the next couple of weeks," according to the press release.

Ten hours of extra content await PSN purchasers, along with one or two extras that should please long-term fans. "A couple of people said in review of Joe Danger 2 said they missed the simplicity of the bike in the original," said Hello Games man Sean Murray, "which was really nice to hear, because that's exactly what we've been working on."

Joe Danger 2 features the eponymous Joe, a stuntman working his way through Hollywood action flicks, spurred on by a director who clearly believes 'health and safety' is for lesser men. You pull off stunts and tricks in a desperate attempt to get through the level with the best possible score ... or at least without crashing. PSN was where Joe Danger first showed off his signature tricks; now he's back on the platform, or will be very soon.

I wonder if other XBL titles might jump ship as well and be on both platform?

Like dust an elysian tail??
You know, I was going to say that it wouldn't happen because Dust was published by Microsoft Game Studios, but... Joe Danger 2 is as well. My guess is MGS published the game without getting rights to the IP, so they were allowed to port the game elsewhere if they found another publisher. Dust, as much as I'd like to play it, probably won't get the same treatment. Remember, Dust won Microsoft's Dream.Build.Play challenge back in 2009, and it'd look bad if the game was ported elsewhere. At best you might see it on Steam, like Mark of the Ninja... that's what I'm hoping at least.
