Dungeon Defenders Celebrates Birthday With Cake-Filled Content

Dungeon Defenders serves up malevolent birthday turkey in this new gameplay video.

Other games just let their birthdays come and go without comment, but Dungeon Defenders [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/videos/view/trailers/4176-Dungeon-Defenders-Dev-Diary-One] decided to be a little more creative with its celebration. Can you hold off the Goblin, the Snowman, or the malevolent Turkey? If not, all the cakes in your homebase might end up in someone else's belly.

In an extension of the festivities, the game is also on sale at Steam [http://store.steampowered.com/app/65800] as part of their Midweek Madness offer. The whole collection is available for $12.49, but if you just want the basic game, that can be had for less than $4. The Birthday Pack includes the new Tavern Siege mission, with party hats and other surprises for players.

Dungeon Defenders is a tower defense game, mixed with RPG elements, which has players utilize several different hero classes to defend their base. It's always had an anarchic sense of humor; previous updates had the game import elements from President's Day celebration.
