Let me get this straight, the guy that left fraxis is starting a kick starter to make a game just like the fall of rome scenario from civ3 conquest expansion pack. Instead of giving your money to this, just buy civ3 complete. You will get this game plus a bunch of other stuff for about the same price.

It actually looks/sounds completely different than Civ. Did you not read the story?

One is a histrocial 4x 2d game which involves you playing barbarians and the other is histrocial 4x 2d game which involves you playing barbarians.

So a guy quits Civilization making to make an inferior civilization game, but instead get funding from a kick-starter. Why does this sound completely like a conspiracy to suck us money for our love of kickstarter?
