Can't say I really enjoy the idea of being told the long term implications of your choices. I'd rather there be some actual effect in-game which gets elaborated upon in an epilogue at the end or something.

Afaik, you are not just told - you are able to visit the same place after timeline advances and see the consequences in-game.

I think we're gonna get to shag mermaids, ladies and gentlemen. Sign me up!

Captcha: blue cheese. Is that a variant of blue waffle? Ugh, sign me off...

SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY CD RED!

This game looks AWESOME! Just the way the environments look and the different regions makes me want to wander around these lands endlessly. Though I do hope the forests and such are not just walls to keep you on the track but that it is a truly open world.

This really is the only game where I am NOT worried by bugs. Both Witcher games had them at the start however CD RED are just amazing because they WILL go back and fix nearly all of them and whilst they are doing that add in more tweaks and even more content. So whilst the initial product may be buggy, which I hope they can get right the first time, it is almost a guarantee that they will release an Enhanced Edition free of charge that surpasses the original release and fixes the bugs.

I think that was more for the demo purposes than anything else. It's kinda hard to play through a game and then show long term consequences for something that is 4-5 hours down the line in a hour long press conference.

I don't think they will actually trigger a cutscene where the consequences of each action are summarized for you. The fun thing of the witcher was always to find out the consequences for yourself, that moment when the goodie two shoes was actually doing something bad, or that moment when you choose a more violent option and it is revealed later on that pragmatism was the most correct way.

If it's all reduced to seeing a cutscene that would ruin a large part of the game.
