It certainly seems like an interesting game, worth a look. I actually like the idea of having to evacuate from the battlefield if you lose, certainly beats trying to hide in the corner if you lose in TF2.

High Speed Twitch Shooting, making a return, from the people who spawned Call of Duty no less?

But I'm not ready for the end of days!!!

I've built up a thick veneer of cynicism about any and all new shooters these days, they're all so samey, so familiar and so utterly grey, but one mention of the Q word and there's a considerable crack in that veneer (plus an involuntary twitch in my right hand, weird). It's coming out for PC and it's got bots? Oh dear I'm feeling a little wobbly.

Oh right, it's an EA title, so that can mean only two things, Origin and Battlelog. Just like that, I'm back behind the veneer.

Captcha: murphy's law, too right my artificial obstructive friend.

Ditch Origin and I'll check the game out when it's released. Also, put it on Steam.

Whoever wrote that article obviously hasn't played Crysis 3 Multiplayer, which is one of the extremely few recent Quake-esque "CoD on steroids" with everyone running around at absurd speeds and power-jumping/wall-climbing. Oh and great vertically-scaling maps to utilize all that movement.

Don't really blame anyone because C3MP didn't have anywhere near the multiplayer advertisement/focus as Titanfall and Crytek kinda botched the balance with overpowered killstreaks and one-shot-kill weapons/methods. Oh well, Crysis is known as a singleplayer franchise anyway.

I wish Titanfall good luck, it's bound to do well. Going to be an absolute BLAST on PC with mouse+keyboard controls, as all shooters are :D

I just use the Equalizer taunt to kamikaze if the game goes south.

Looks like I'll need to start getting serious about my new build, this Titanfall is sounding half decent.

EDIT: Crap, forgot it was EA. Ahh well.

The Crysis MP trailers really got me interested in MP again when it launched but, as you pointed out, the one shot kills completely ruined it for me. The high-end permanent weapon unlocks broke the game.

Well the Quake name is spread around quite liberally here, but I do have to wonder when any of you last played it, because I have recently and neither Crysis or Titanfall comes within spitting distance, yes they appear faster then your average MMS... but thats because those are the slowest possible ways to play an FPS.
