Rumor: Dark Matter Studio May Not Exist Any More
An external company may be working on the game's ending.

The answer, at least according to Gamasutra sources, is: nope, nobody home but us management. InterWave's development team got canned sometime between July and August, and only two management staff are left to keep the studio ticking over.
It's possible another company may be working on the game's ending, even without the original team. However it's difficult to see why anyone would want to, bearing in mind that the vendors which were handling sales have pulled out. Maybe publisher Iceberg and the tattered remnants of InterWave want to keep on Valve's good side, but without cash - remember, this all started because InterWave's Kickstarter raised about 12% of its funding goal - it's difficult to see what's in it for the as yet unnamed external studio.
