A shoutout for Ichi the Killer? That's fantastic! Foreign movies so often get overlooked in these sorts of things.

"Ichi the Killer" is my all-time favorite film, gangster or otherwise. What an amazing surprise!

Great choices, and it's nice seeing some recognition for Mean Streets and Casino; those two always seem to get overlooked. Scorsese might actually be my favourite director of all time, he's made some amazing movies.

Ichi the Killer was quite a surprise. A pleasant surprise, mind you, but I feel that movie warrants a disclaimer - "this movie is weird as hell". There's a definite surrealist element that you don't see in any of the other picks.

And The Untouchables for that matter. Though I liked the fact that wasn't in the list, I find that film so overrated. Talk about narmy acting and the like.

Never heard of Ichi the Killer though. Gonna check that out soon.
