Telltale's Walking Dead Season 2 Shambles to Xbox December 18th

That'll be about $5 per episode, for all you Xbox Live folks out there.

The first episode of Telltale's The Walking Dead season two is due to arrive on Xbox December 18th, one day after its Steam debut. You're looking at $4.99 per episode, with a season pass cost of $14.99. The first episode is called All That Remains.

This comes to you courtesy of Major Nelson [http://majornelson.com/2013/12/10/coming-soon-to-the-xbox-live-game-store-6/]. Clementine and her new friends, as well as some old ones, face their first challenges in All That Remains, and now that the Xbox due date's been revealed we're only waiting on news from PSN and iOS.

Can't wait!

Yay! Suppose I should keep an eye out on Steam for a sale now.

However, I did buy the first season on Origin because it was cheaper... all it did was install it on Steam. :p

Edit: Wow, I can't pay attention... Xbox version update.

My Walking Dead files are on my PS3, and I leave for vacation without a stable internet connection (for 2 weeks) starting on the 20th. My feels can't take the anticipation! Please be released before the 20th! I can't enjoy Christmas without knowing what's going to happen to Clem!

Way to freak me out with the title, for a minute there I thought it was going to be xbox-exclusive. Now I'm riled up, I need to rant about something but I don't know what yet.

I want to jump right on it and play, but THIS time around I would rather have a physical copy, and that makes me hesitate. Yes, the first season was fantastic, but I would have preferred having a physical copy, and by the time they announced it I was already finished with episode 3, or 4. Unfortunately, I might have to wait for it to come out on disk.

The disk is a preorder Telltale bonus, so you might want to head over to Telltale right now.

So, does this include xbox one? No, no it does not. How bout not releasing new consoles if you won't put games on them. Fucking ass holes Microsoft and Sony. Some of us had to sell our old consoles to afford the new one.

Wait, is that the correct price for the season pass? The season pass was $22.49 on Steam. Does this mean it's $7.50 cheaper on Xbox Live or is this just a mistake? I seriously doubt the season pass amounts to: buy 3 episodes, get 2 free. If it's the right price though, I probably shouldn't have bought it on Steam so early :(

I don't think Microsoft and Sony can force Telltale to make a port on their new consoles...

Besides, ports can be pretty expensive (both cost- and time-wise) and I would much rather that Telltale focuses on polishing it for the announced platforms than port the game over to consoles that weren't even officially announced when the game started development.

Off topic, but, does anyone else notice how Clementine's shirt on the screenshots for Season 2 is similar in design to Lee's, but a different color? Symbolism!
