Rabbids Invasion: The Interactive TV Show Gets November Release

Based on the Rabbids Invasion television series, the video game uses the PlayStation Camera and Xbox Kinect to add interactive elements to 20 episodes.

The Rabbids are an adorable and wicked bunch of large rabbits, who who first appeared in the Rayman series of video games. The mischievous creatures got their own spin-off Raving Rabbids series of video games, and have appeared in several other Ubisoft games, including Just Dance 2 and Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag. Ubisoft and Nickelodeon brought the Rabbids to television with a hit animated series for kids in 2013, and now Ubisoft has come full circle with a video game based on the television series. Rabbids Invasion: The Interactive TV Show will launch on Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 4 in November 2014. The game allows players to interact with 20 episodes of the series, using the Xbox Kinect or the PlayStation Camera to launch the Rabbids into the air, copy the Rabbids' poses, and draw on the characters.

Ubisoft Brand Producer Xavier Manzanares says, "The Rabbids Invasion TV series is very popular amongst kids and their families so we wanted to merge the success of this TV show with the studio's expertise in creating fun and original gaming experiences. With Rabbids Invasion: The Interactive TV Show, we're introducing an innovative way that people can interact with their favorite characters. This is not only TV you can watch, but TV you can play." The game will support up to four players on Xbox One or PlayStation 4, and up to two players for Xbox 360.

The game features over 400 activities, including throwing eggs along with the Rabbids, matching the Rabbid's expresions, and a challenge to scream out the iconic Rabbids' "BWAAAH!", which uses the voice recognition capabilities of the Kinect or PlayStation Camera. An augmented reality mode lets you interact with and dance with the Rabbids in your own living room. The game will include 20 episodes at launch, with more episodes to be added later as DLC.

Yeah, Ubisoft is feeling nostalgic about those shitty FMV games on the Sega CD.

I've seen a glimpse of an episode of this show on Nick and I couldn't stand it, it's literally 30 minutes of these assholes yelling "BAAAAAHHHHHH!!!" over and over and over.

Who is this show for?, 5 year olds with tourettes?, my bet is that they have better things to do instead of watching this.

There was actually a TV series of that Rabbids shit?

And it was sucessful enough to have a game made based on it?

Anyway, as a fan of Rayman im offended that anything Rabbids even exists by default.

Come on, now. I was a five-year-old with Tourette's, and even I hated things howling in my face on TV. :p

OT: Screw the Rabbids, screw anything having to do with the Rabbids.

YOU TWATS BROKE MY FAVORITE SERIES! ;___;

I hope its about Willem Defoe invading their Miiverse.
After his Spiderman performance, I could totally see myself thoroughly enjoying him with the Rabbids.

I've seen an episode of this show, and I have no idea why anyone would want to interact with it.

Unless you can strangle the Rabbids.

Can you strangle the Rabbids?

So, it's a game based on a television show based on a spinoff game based on ANOTHER spinoff game based on a series that is now largely unrelated.

I think that's tall enough for the Rabbids to get home now.

Well, to be honest, this interactive video game was going to come regardless, I guess...

Also, as far as I'm concerned, the Rabbits are as non-canon as my cousin's fanfics... *clutches his canon Rayman games tightly*

OT: Given how the only parts the show that I would consider to be "funny" were when any of the human side characters spoke any dialogue (especially during that one episode where they were literally trying to study them in an isolated white room), I'm going to assume this "interactive game" would only be "slightly" better because, to the player, it would somehow remind them that they are "better" Rabbids games that they could be playing right now...
