I am really excited for this honestly. I still haven't got my hands on 1.5 Remix, but I'm hoping to next month. Then I can get 2.5 and then one day, one fine day, I will get Kingdom Hearts 3. One day. It's been years and I can't handle the not knowing what happens next anymore!

Any KH news is always good news, only...

I really don't like that the (majority?) of the players, reviewers, etc... regard KH BBS, Days, DDD as "spin offs"(in a negative sense).
Sure they might fit the definition of a spin off, but some of them are VERY important for the main storyline. You wouldn't even know who exactly the main villain was and his original intentions if you hadn't played KH: birth by sleep or KH: dream drop distance.
Calling those games 'just spin offs' is a major disservice. Because while you CAN go without Days or ReCoded and still understand the core storyline, you'd have a much harder time understanding KH3 if you only played KH1 and 2.
That's the great part about the Remixes: you can play (almost) every title in the series.
Now if they would only 'port' KH DDD to vita for instance or playstation 3/4 all would be perfect :3.

Oh and Noctis Lucis Caelum as a FF character in KH3 would be so awesome
Don't tell me it's impossible, they made a PERFUME/ 'eau de toilet' of him so anything goes
And IF any Darth Vadery character would show up in that game ==> make Xemnas kick his ass like it was NOTHING (pun intended)

Your point on spin-offs is fair, but I do feel like they've made the story needlessly convoluted over the years. Then again, I probably have a more negative view of the offshoots because the first one I played was Chain of Memories and I haaaaaaated it. I'm looking forward to giving Birth by Sleep a chance, and it sounds like I'll need to try Dream Drop Distance before Kingdom Hearts III!

I can safely say you will, the amount of story given is very important and a lot of it will translate over to Kingdom Hearts III, I say play it, the game-play is as solid as ever and it retains many of the refinements added by earlier games and expands on them, so give it a shot, otherwise you may be baffled by what is going on in the story if KHIII doesn't explain it well.

Or just do like I did and Youtube the main story of KH DDD

Well, I already know II.5 is going to be better than 1.5 on the grounds of all (if not most) of the Final Mix cutscenes dubbed in both Kingdom Hearts 2 and Birth By Sleep... Now, I wonder if they solved the situation with the Days movie by actually showing various [and quite possibly important] battle sequences in the [Re:]Coded movie...

It's a shame to hear that the camera is still a bit wonky, but then it was like that in KH2 anyway. I'm also a bit sad that DDD won't be included either, because I have no idea what happens in that game. I may have to watch someone play through it in YT before getting into KH3.

Still, I'm happy to hear it's as good as ever!
