Definitely no offense taken! We agree that the voice of the column needs streamlining, others have said similar things. We had actually turned this one in before the first one went up, so we haven't had a chance to refine yet.ZZoMBiE13 said:I like this idea for a column. But I have to offer some constructive criticism.
The constant (Kyle Edits) kinda break the flow of the piece. An occasional insert like that can be funny, but when it's every paragraph it starts to feel unfocused. I get that it's two people giving input, but as a written column it starts to feel scattered rather than conversational (which is what I feel you are going for).
That's just my two cents of course. I may be the only one who feels that way. And it's not a deal breaker or anything, I'll keep checking out the column. This is meant constructively, not to be a jerk. I like you guys and would never wish to offend. Cheers!

Well, I gotta say, interested at least. Intrigued to see where this might be going :OFirefilm said:And aroused? Hungry? Perhaps entertained?tzimize said:This thing here was really strange. I'm confused. And tired.

That would have been pretty good indeed. "Thanos is coming!" seems like a good idea on paper, but like 3 years and 5 movies later is the next time he's even mentioned. He's not even going to show up until Avengers 3 apparently. The stinger feels a bit wasted to me - it could have been used to hint at any of the sooner movies. I guess the big thing it does though is actually explain why Loki bothered doing any of these shenanigans in the first place.Kuredan said:I think if they had made a slightly different stinger in Avengers it would have been better, maybe one hinting at Guardians, like a piece of debris from the portal pinging off of Star-Lord's Ship and him saying something like, "I just got the damn thing repainted" (Much bigger piece hits !Crunch! Huge section of the engines gone) "Dammit!" I think the Thanos stinger was a little premature. I guess the one from Thor will be enough to set it up.
i was amused, but only until i realized the reason i was really crying was the triumph in the villainy. Did you accidently turn Loki into a tragic hero, this sort of martyr to the self-understanding of the heroes, knowing his grand gestures didn't have to be planned, they only had to be grand. He set the stage to make himself the villain in the hopes that he would be welcomed as a king, and when he was rejected, all he needed to relinquish his crown was a moment and a drink.Firefilm said:And aroused?
