Ant-Man[/I] stars Michael Douglas as original Ant-Man Hank Pym, Paul Rudd as reformed thief and Pym protege Scott Lang, Evangeline Lily as Pym's daughter Hope Van Dyne, and Corey Stoll as Yellowjacket. It hits theaters July 17, 2015.

Good for the fans I guess. I have a hard time trusting this "development hell" kind of movies. They never, or almost never, quite pull it off.

Hang on. Why is there a second actor for Yellowjacket?
Yellowjacket isn't going to be an unhinged Hank Pym? That is a shame, what are they doing to this character?

I like Ant-Man. Let Ant-Man be Ant-Man.

Hmm... I'm concerned about this one. This much behind-the-scenes drama before the movie even begins filming is never a good omen.

I'm not saying that Ant-Man is doomed to failure. But I am saying that if Marvel's streak of good movies ends up getting broken sooner than later, I wouldn't be surprised if Ant-Man is the culprit.
