Pokemon X & Y Becomes "A More Fun Gaming Experience"

Patch notes for Pokemon X and Pokemon Y update 1.3 are sparse, but the patch reportedly fixes bugs and adjusts gameplay for a better "experience."

In case you're having trouble finding the patch on the eShop, this QR code should point you in the right direction. The download requires 320 Blocks.

The game must be updated before the user can use online-based services like Wonder Trade, the Global Trade Station (GTS), Game Sync, and the Player Search System.

Seriously, I always hated that thing for Gen 6 because if you wanna literally catch them all you need event Pokemon, and obviously the old events are all shut down. All it's done is made people use GTS in worse ways then Gen 5 and Gen 4, and that's by having it basically be a bragging room for people to go "I have this and you don't, and you can't get it. "

Oh, and if this means X and Y are becoming a "more fun gaming experience" does that mean they actually added shit for post game, because the X and Y post game is honestly one of the worst post games in the entire series because there is nothing to do.

Forgetting my public begging display for a moment, there's nothing pressing I think X and Y need fixing.
Most likely it's patching the games so that when the Ruby and Sapphire remakes are released you can trade between the two for the new Mega's and items.

Honestly, if thats what it is, and Mega Flygon isn't 'leaked' by the end of the week, I'll be disappointed...

Well, I'll take one if you don't want them, since you can still trade event mons normally.

I hope in the future theres a patch that lets you play ORAS with XY.
Currently, Nintendo's statement is that XY will not support ORAS megas, making the games incompatible.

This. After B/W and B2/W2, X/Y was such a backslide. I get that making new 3D models for nearly 800 beasties (more if you include Megas) took some work, but still.

As for those requesting some of my mons, the only event one I want to have is a Meloetta. I've got the Dex entry, but I want an actual one. T^T

The shiny Gengar event ended on Sunday, but you've got ~2 weeks to get Diancie. The thing is, it's a code on a card, and they only got a limited supply of cards, so go sooner than later. They've had issues with inventory the last two events, and that was for things that already existed in the game. (pinser/heracross w/ ,mega stone, gengar+ mega stone)

Most likely it's patching the games so that when the Ruby and Sapphire remakes are released you can trade between the two for the new Mega's and items.

Actually, that's not very likely at all considering GameFreak has already confirmed that nothing new to ORAS, including the new Megas, will be transferable to X/Y. They're even going to split up the leagues so that X/Y players will only be able to fight other X/Y players and ORAS players will only fight ORAS players (or X/Y players if they make sure not to use any of the new items/moves, but why go to the trouble.)

Unless they've changed their policy and this patch does include an ORAS update, Nintendo is going to split the pool of battlers.

Wait, a patch requires over 300 blocks? My card has barely over 2000 (yes, call me odd for that, but that's just the one I bought. It was a bargain). So for me to mess about on a game I bought I have do download an update that I very much might not have space for? Who thought this was a good idea? And the fact that they are fixing bugs for a stupid event pokemon they introduced means nothing to me (and I own currently 5 of the redeemable codes for them). The should have all those problems fixed when they released them.

Seriously, the on-line component is the only reason I still play this game, and if they expect me to pay for them messing everything up...sure I will. I will pay the cost. But if they expect me to be happy about this, I will not be.

Also I will state I am a little bit drunk. Take everything I've stated here with a grain of salt, until I've doubled down when I'm sober.

I heard a while back about a bug where people were sending out eggs through wonder trade somehow and they would never hatch just keep multiplying in your box and filling up space with no way to release them. i haven't read much pokemon news in a while though they may have already fixed this but if not maybe the patch addresses it?
