Telltale Releases New Game of Thrones Teaser Featuring the Flayed Man

House Bolton's blades are sharpened for the upcoming Telltale Game of Thrones adventure.

Telltale Games has released another teaser for their upcoming Game of Thrones adventure game, and with it another tiny tidbit of information regarding the hotly-anticipated title. The teaser features prominently the Flayed Man, sigil of House Bolton and the quote from A Storm of Swords "There's squids in the wolfswood, and flayed men ride the Kingsroad..." This new teaser, like the previous two, seem to point to the game taking place in the North.

Whether House Bolton will be appearing as an enemy or an ally, with them involved players will be sure to experience unpleasantness in their dealings with the Bolton family. With a history of flaying their enemies, fratricide, and general psychotic behaviors, the Boltons are the most dangerous House in the North. Depending on when the game takes place, the absence of House Stark would make House Bolton the most powerful house North of the Neck.

In addition to the sigil indicating involvement by House Bolton, the quotation alludes to "squids" which may mean that the Iron Islanders and House Greyjoy could also be featured in the game.

Telltale Games has stated that the game's first episode will release sometime before the end of this year on PC, Mac, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360.

Stupid me just realized The Frayed Man is an allusion to The Hanged Man.

...

The hanged man is one of the twelve arcana.

The twelve arcana are the center piece for Persona.

Telltale episodic Persona game officially announced everyone.

Seriously guys, Joffery Slapping minigame, and I'll dub this my Game of The Year. It doesn't even have to be canon! Make it a dream sequence or something! Just let me do this:

for a bit and you won't hear a single unkind word from me!

I've noticed that when Telltale starts to releases teasers like this it usually means they are about a week away from announcing a release date.
