"Advanced distribution and production chain"? While I love a lot of the stuff FFG produces, namely their LCGs and RPGs along with numerous board games, they are notorious for their small print runs of practically everything, especially core sets, and long wait times between print runs to get stuff back on the shelves. And I know this since I work for a board game store.

If anything, I hope having been bought out by Asmodee does the opposite and gives FFG access to better and quicker printers!

The problem was cash. FFG were undercapitalized and couldn't afford big print runs. The purchase by Asmodee should solve those problems

I hope that's true, then maybe we'll see shorter print times for things, ESPECIALLY Core Sets of LCGs like Conquest and Game of Thrones 2.0! It's tough trying to make a sale into an LCG when there's no core set to start with.

It will be interesting to see how Tigris goes in this new age. It's a very well designed game but absolutely brutal on friendships, worse than Monopoly. Nothing like starting a war between two players just after one of them has built a monument and watching the hair fly.

This is completely true. FFG *does* have an incredibly advanced prod & distro, especially for prototyping and quality control, but it's really really expensive - Asmodee's millions should help.
