I'm really not worried about Star Wars with Jason Aaron in charge. He is easily one of the best writers in the business right now. Also old Thor goes by Odinson now so to tell the difference you could say Thor Odinson or just Odinson and use just Thor for the new one.
In the latest issue of Thor Jason Aaron has his new creation break the jaw of sock puppet straw man critical of her usurpation of the original Thor's name and role. The glorious new icon of feminism in comics uses her superior super strength to brutally smash in the face of a man for daring to express a dissenting political viewpoint.
Verily, she is truly now worthy of being Thor! Because she's clearly a bit of a wanker, just like the last one was.
It's a real pity that the actual comic isn't a cutting satire of how being a social justice warrior doesn't excuse you from being a being a complete and utter asshole to other people. I'd support that.
