SugarDVD recently presented its statistics through a new infographic, and there are significant differences between Android and Apple markets. First of all, Apple users watch porn well into the night - usually from 11pm to 3am - compared to Android's reasonable evening hours. While there's no stated winner in overall hours, Android fanboys do "last longer" than iOS brethren by a whole 4.2 minutes.

But perhaps the most interesting details? The actual video categories that Android and Apple users are watching. If you have an iPhone, the odds are much higher it's been downloading lesbian porn. They probably release these stats (both this set and categories like the console set from a while ago) just to tell people "hey, you can watch porn on these!" Savvy users know that "everything with a cpu can run DooM" can be easily swapped with "everything with a cpu can display pron" Savvy users also know they don't need this one specific streaming service to do the pornski. (Creepy ones probably have a list of sites, so they leave no bookmarks for someone to find even with private browsing.)

I remember when I moved to a new apartment about two years ago, there was no internet there and for two weeks I had to use my phone (android) if I wanted to watch any porn (I could do most of my other online viewing at work). It always bugs me when people look down on those who pay for content. It's because of them that there is content to begin with.

As Loa pointed out, there exists an archive of biblical proportions of free porn, and a lot of it is on the same shoe-string budget and features the same visuals/concept, which begs the question: how do these people make money?
Just like Youtube does, Advertisements.
Unlike Youtube, however, they're not exactly picky about what advertisements are allowed on the page, so they take on anyone who is willing to pay.

That said, there IS porn that you have to pay for to view besides the websites that offer the same kinda thing as described above, but these tend to be drawn or animated features often inhabiting a niche that's small enough to justify payment for it's demand.

Professional porn still does and always will exist, the method of payment has just changed from credit cards to advertisements.

Actually, it's a great idea. You can have a lot more privacy with the smaller screen and portability of the devices. On top of that, it's pretty damn hard to get a virus from a bad ad or script loading in the background on a phone.

I love confirmations like these that we live in a nation hypocrites. It's like the people who post comments on the internet are Roleplaying as Amish whenever it comes to the subject of relieving one of the most basic hormonal needs that all mammals evolved with. Then out comes statistics like this which flips all that on its head. God Bless America!
