I know. It makes me want to kick a developer or two square in the egg roll.Johnny Novgorod said:Jesus I'm stressed just by reading through these.
Nah, that achievement was definitely possible and even quite easy to get ? if you know how.shadowxvii said:Wasn't there also an achievement in Stanley's Parable that was straight up impossible ?
I managed to do seriously 3.0 over about 10 months, which honestly (a) required a lot of 'idle boosting' (setting the game to play itself while I did other stuff) and (b) burned me out on games and achievements for quite some time afterwards.Elfgore said:Dear lord, some of these have to be the stupidest things I've ever read. The Rock Band one reminded me of the most sadistic achievement ever. In Rock Band 3 you got an achievement for 3 gamerscore for creating your band. Another achievement gave two for connecting your Xbox Live account to Rockband network. They new OCD people would be all over that just to make that last digit a 5 or 0 again.
Screw EP2 achievements, that and Get Some Grub really dropped the ball compared to the fun ones HL2 and EP1 had.martyrdrebel27 said:Little Rocket Man-The Orange Box. completely agree. I got screwed by the grub one, and... I think it was Ep. 2, but I got screwed by the one where you cross the sand without ever touching it. I DID that, and it didn't pop. I was pissed. And I think I missed 1 grub somewhere and said "nope! not again!"Imre Csete said:Screw EP2 achievements, that and Get Some Grub really dropped the ball compared to the fun ones HL2 and EP1 had.martyrdrebel27 said:Little Rocket Man-The Orange Box. Granted, I did finally get that trochievement <url=http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/jump/9.874988.21996364>not too long ago, but in the mortal words of Larry Wilmore:FPLOON post="9.849426.20978369" said:Lollipop Chainsaw... The No Fear Of Heights Trocheivement...
So far, that situation, alone, has been THE pinnacle of all my rage quits... The amount of luck you would need to obtain that particular trophy was so BS that it has been over a year since I have touched that particular game...
And I was having so much fun back then... and, at the time, I was one trophy away from platinuming it...
Almost a complete waste of time at this point...
