so is this game playable without VR? when I first read about it, it seemed like a VR exclusive kind of thing, and after watching the video, I can see how VR would have been really cool with this. but without VR, I might actually be able to give this a chance.

I've been playing it without VR. It's not really a "party" game though, you're best off playing with one other pall so you can get to know each other's call-outs. If you're playing with more, one person will usually end up shouting the loudest, and the others will feel left out.

I had a quick look at some videos playing it both with and without Oculus.

The VR thing seems cute but...well...very unnecessary to be honest from what I've seen.

I've played it with Skype friends. One of them can't read Morse code when he's defusing the bomb. It's frustrating.

I've also played it with my parents. They're not so good with the defusing controls, but they're great experts.

OT: To be honest, as much as I like Erin- I wouldn't trust her even if she could save my life while handling any dangerous situation. I'd rather let go of the cliff than grab her hand personally >_>

Hell, half the fun of the game was finding new ways to be the type of evil worthy of a old timey twirling mustache.

BTW love the avatar although I prefer Cerea myself.
