Isn't it such a shame that for all its mods and modes, there's no Zombie Apocalypse trigger or alien invasions?

Wait, no I got it! Kaijus! I'd actually pay money for a Pacific Rim add-on that lets you build a Jaeger and deploy it against Kaiju attacks. And each attack you fend off you get a unique monument building.
And the Halloween special is Cthulhu rising from his slumber to destroy your City and claim all the souls.

[Necropost!] Ahem, why missing proper postapoc titles and replacing them with zombies? The Fall, Hard Truck Apocalypse, C&C (yeah, everyone forgets that C&C is set in postapocalyptic world!), later UFO-series games (3D side-reboot ones), Carmageddon and Twised Metal games, Aquanox series, Resistance series, even friggin' Enslaved could fit the list much better then those useless zombies.
