There is quite an interesting problem with SPECTRE that I've heard however.

The bond girl, taking a daring step with choosing a slightly older woman (which isn't bad, I prefer the non-airhead bondgirls), however she has a screentime of a total of almost 7 minutes. In which she's introduced, seduced, had a sex scene and bond getting all the information out of her.
I mean, that's weak, and really sad.

So basically the same as Skyfall in half the time?

It's been out here for a while. It's pretty good- It feels like a traditional Bond film in a new-Bond skin, if that makes sense. There was some talk about the Bond girls being a bit more 'feminist' somehow, and that's bollocks- The scene with Monica Bellucci's character actually comes across as extremely rapey and Bond's relationship with Madeleine is bizarre.
Basically, she fucking hates him until they kill someone together, then they're suddenly madly in love. I'll remember that one for first date planning.
Other than that though, I liked it. Ralph Fiennes gets his badass on.

Pretty much. Except unlike Skyfall, Spectre doesn't really turn awesome in the last half to compensate.

Thanks Marter. You just cost me a fortune as I now feel the need to get the 4 Craig Bond movies on Bluray (3D if Available). Dang it!

As negative as I was about Craig in the role, he turned out to be pretty fun!

Had I my druthers: the next Bond would start out in his 20s. A new guy, new to the business and let him grow into the role.

Whilst I enjoyed Casino Royale, I did find the Daniel Craig Bond films to be a little dark gritty gritty for my liking.

To me, James Bond has always just been about crazy gadgets and over the top villains, and the Craig Bond films had practically none of that. Hell, in Skyfall, the best he got was a gun that only Bond could shoot (ooh), and a fucking radio.

Kingsmen is a film that has spoiled me, with everything that I wanted from the most recent Bond films, condensed into one insanely fun ride, that you should definitely go and watch. Bond just feels boring in comparison, now. What a shame.
