On the subject of Dust 514, I'm thinking that game exists because a higher-up in Sony was a big fan of EVE Online and reached out to CCP with an exclusive deal (or potentially the opposite, with a big playstation fan in CCP reaching out to Sony). Once they actually got to serious talking though, it ended up being an FPS just because that's what makes money on consoles these days.

I remember it as a game I wanted to get into just because I had friends who were into EVE Online, though I wasn't. But it being a PS3 exclusive was a dealbreaker for me, and as far as I know my friends don't play EVE anymore so this new game has nothing for me. Still, it was a cool idea while it lasted.
