Personally I never liked the Romer-Gs much, albeit only trying them out a little in the store on 910 and not an 810. They don't feel quite as tactile as Cherry Browns, and I've never had a problem with actuation speed. I can see how the Romers might feel like a good alternative to some, but it should be noted that unlike the Razer Orange/Green which are just clones, they do feel significantly different, especially if you've grown too attached to Cherry already.

I am glad they got rid of those weirdly faceted keycaps though, that was a pretty major turnoff for the 910. It does indeed look a lot better than the 910, which seemed to try too hard.

I love my G910, honestly. The faceted keycaps are one of my favorite features. My error rate on typing dropped something like 25% once I got used to them. Of course, I have large hands, which makes them work really well for me.

I also prefer the Romer-G switch to pretty much anything Cherry makes. For whatever reason, they just feel good to me, and they're nice and quiet. They do feel different than the Cherry switches, but I like them a lot more. Of course, that's entirely personal preference.
