Battleborn Open Beta Dates Announced Alongside Story Mode Info
The Battleborn open beta will begin on April 8, at least for PS4 owners.
PC and Xbox One players will join their PS4 brethren in the open beta on April 13, and the beta will wrap up for all participants at 7 AM PST on April 18. Pre-loading for all platforms will begin on April 6. Also of interest to Battleborn fans will be the new information on the game's story mode. The story will be released episodically, and in a new blog post [https://battleborn.com/en/news/view/en-introducing-battleborns-tv-style-story/], Gearbox details another episode, titled "The Renegade." This episode will send you on a rescue mission to save Caldarius and recruit him as a playable hero.
Playing through the story will not only net you rewards like experience that advances your character and command ranks, you'll also be gathering loot, gear, and credits in every episode. Plus you'll get to unlock new characters as well.
