New Call of Duty: Black Ops III Trailer Shows Off New Eclipse DLC

The next Call of Duty: Black Ops III trailer shows off the upcoming Eclipse DLC, including zombies.

The next DLC for Call of Duty: Black Ops III is titled Eclipse. Not only will it add four new multiplayer maps, it will also include the latest additional to Treyarch's Black Ops 3 Zombies adventure.


The four new maps are Verge, Rift, Spire, and Knockout. The new Zombies adventure is titled Zetsubou No Shima

The official spiel on the patch goes like this:

"Following the events of Der Eisendrache, the Origins heroes find themselves stranded on a remote Pacific island, home to a secret biological research lab experimenting with Element 115."

The Eclipse DLC will launch on PS4 on April 19. Versions for other platforms are scheduled to launch 30 days later.

So it's Takeo's turn in this map, huh? Nice.

I wish I was more excited about this. There was a time when I couldn't wait to get the new zombie map. But Black Ops III's first map requires four player for the Easter Egg, and I only have one other friend with the game. There was a time when there were four of us, but my other friends have slowly fallen away.

No, Element 115 has been part of the CoD Zombie lore since World at War and has been responsible for basically everything in some form: The Perk-a-Cola, the Giant Robots, the Zombies, quite a few of the Wonderweapons, Timetravel,...
