I'm more shocked Machop wasn't the headliner at said gay bar...

OT: That last tweet got to me the most...

Other than that, it should have been a Machoke at that gay bar... #MakeAmericaBaraAgain

You know, I expected a Snorlax to be where that Drowzee was. Still, Drowzee makes the cut for being a good Pokemon for that location. XD

How so?
Honestly though those sorts of...get ups were relegated to the 80s and early 90s.
I dunno, doesn't seem that outrageous to me, it's not like they've gone full Tom of Finland, which would feel pretty dated. Compared to the glitzy female strip clubs, seems rather reserved to me. If I had to hazard a guess it's just one those things that's stuck around like cops(though I suspect that works on both sides) or nurses for women. Although I'm straight, never been to a gay strip joint nor am I really aware of whats "trendy" in terms of sexual get up for gay men, so that's pure conjecture on my part.

Maybe it had a bit of resurgence in popularity after Brokeback Mountain, in the same way 50 Shades saw a boost in popularity in "S&M"? And I don't mean that as a jab, it does have a romanticized view of that period with the cowboy get up in a gay context with some reasonably dashing(?) leads. I can definitely see some sexy role play coming out of that.

I had a few while working yesterday

I think I'm actually having more fun playing this as Pokemon Snap 2.0 than I am an actual competitive mobile game or something

Rhyhorn in a swimming pool isn't that weird. It CAN learn Surf, after all.

Still my favorite:

If you're still expecting the escpaist to proof read these lists then you are sorely mistaken.

Even after a several comments they never changed "Arc: Combat Evolved" to its actual name "Ark: Survival Evolved".

Had to laugh, though.

But thank you. Pokmon: Combat Evolved Escapist Edition.

A friend of mine found a ghastly in her room. She was looking over her Pokemon just before bed and he popped up. We were like OMG your house is haunted.

yeah, i've been around since escapist was actually good, and even then they had no proof-reading/editing. countless times i've called this out, just trying to help. once, the article's author had the balls to try and flip it on me because i choose to not capitalize anything except titles. it's a style thing i chose long ago, and always stuck with. and like i told him, i'm just a random comment on a board, but you can believe that if i were writing a published article, it would proof-read.

Still not as bizarre as there being a gym on the north side of the Korean DMZ (Not making this up.)
