I think our Fluttersh- I mean ... healer decided to give it her all was for 2 reasons:

1. Rad motivated her / helped our adorable elf character believe in herself.
2. Erin & Rad didn't treat her like garbage so that's probably it lol.

Treat people well and they won't half @$$ it in trying to help you

or as I put it - 'Keep your Mercy alive, she'll keep you alive.'
