Kill Your Targets Creatively in the New Dishonored 2 Trailer

The newest Dishonored 2 trailer shows off a bevy of creative ways to eliminate your enemies.

Dishonored 2 is nearly upon us, and that means that it's time to think about how you want to approach the game. Will you sneak through like a wraith, or will you be more aggressive? Whichever approach you choose, you'll have plenty of weapons, gadgets, and supernatural abilities to make your way through. The newest trailer shows off some creative ways you can combine all of those to take out your enemies.

No matter which character you choose, or which path you take, you'll have to make your way through the streets of Karnaca using your abilities to bring the usurper Delilah to justice.

Dishonored 2 is coming to PC, PS4, and Xbox One on November 11, 2016.

These games feel like playing with cheat codes on.

Plus the "creative kills" are never actually necessary. The game isn't challenging enough for that. Just shooting/stabbing/choking everyone works just fine. Or hell, just stroll through the level, and blink or stop time whenever you're spotted.

I have something of a soft spot for Dishonored (dat setting, dat visual design) but dear god the gameplay design is a fucking mess.

I really wish they would ditch the morality system in Dishonored. It just saps the fun of the game, have the option for stealth for those who want it, but being actively punished for kills just makes me sigh. You give players all these crazy supernatural powers, tout how amazingly cool they are, and then slap them on the hand when they use them.

It's one of the things I loved about games like The Darkness or Prototype, no nonsense about morality, here's your crazy super powers and those are the bad guys, go nuts.

"Creative kills".

Honestly, this looks far more disappointing than anything I've imagined about the sequel. And lets just say my hope for the sequel was non-existing. It all looks so tryhard, screaming HEY LOOK AT ME!!!1
Almost everything they did could have been done in an easier way and without wasting all your mana, if there is any. All the gadgets used are a waste. 1 bomb to kill one enemy? Oh boy, what a steal!

It's not punishing you, it's giving you a different ending. You can still go nuts with your crazy super powers.

This looks cool but I felt so conflicted playing the first game. I prefer to play full stealth and ghost through stealth games but the finishers and powers are just so much more satisfying when you're playing aggressive. Once I got to the DLC I decided I might as well play Daud as ruthless as I wanted considering who he is. I had even more fun than I did with the base game.

Love the creativity for those willing to experiment shown here. The visual design is very enticing and it's always fun to play with pretty new powers. Reminds me the first game's many deaths of lady Boyle video, except with no cool cover of a nursery rhyme track. Missed out on a golden opportunity there.

Doth me ears deceive me?! Corvo is no longer a silent protagonist? Are those the sultry tones of Stephen Russel?!

My my, this is delicious. XD Welcome home, "Garret".

ANYWAY, Hopefully they will make the Chaos Mechanic much much much more clear and stop trying to scare us with "You will get a bad ending boooooo" when the Chaos ending wasn't even that bad and we could still kill a great deal of enemies before tripping it.

Meh.

Not only are they not particularly creative, I don't get why anyone would bother doing things that way besides it looking "cool". If you can call them that.

How about making a "Creative Knockouts" video or something? Maybe then I would be excited.

Awwww yiss, the Dark Messiah kick is back. Seems it lived on a healthy diet of steroids over the past couple years.
