Injustice 2 Releasing in May

Injustice 2 hits the Americas on May 16.

The follow-up to Injustice: Gods Among Us will be arriving this May.

The release date was first teased by director Ed Boon on Twitter [https://twitter.com/noobde/status/817487071438848000?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw], and was later confirmed by the official NetherRealm Studios account. It's worth noting that the tweet specifies that this is the release date for the title "in the Americas."

In Injustice 2, players will "continue the epic cinematic story set in motion in Injustice: Gods Among Us as Batman and his allies work towards putting the pieces of society back together, but struggle against those who would restore Superman's Regime." NetherRealm has stated that Injustice 2 will feature "the biggest DC Universe roster a fighting game has ever seen."

Injustice 2 was gameplay trailer released shortly after [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/news/view/167645-Injustice-2-Officially-Announced]. The game will release on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

It was worth forgetting because once again 90's Retcon Lobo isn't part of the main roster.
90s Retcon Lobo?
The Lobo of the 1990s is different from the original from the 1980s. The 1980s Lobo was a Velorpian who wore purple & orange. But I've seen people refer to the 1990s version as the original when compaired to the horrible retcon version made for The New 52.

The main man is back to his 90's greatness as of Justice League vs Suicide squad!

Also, we don't know Lobo isn't part of the main roster. Hell, we barely know what the roster is at all.

He didn't look bad guy enough in the 1980's. The orange and purple was a spandex suit that made him look too super heroish. He already had his space bike thingy in the original, but they reestablished him in full biker look due in part to associate that bad guy image. That is what works.

As fighting games go, Injustice is, well, weird. Long time Street Fighter player here, used to three punch and three kick attacks. Injustice as 3 attacks; light, medium, and heavy. Doesn't make it bad, just confusing to play.
