Cities: Skylines' Mass Transit DLC Arrives Next Month

Mass Transit hits Cities: Skylines on May 18.

Cities: Skylines has seen a number of expansions since its release in 2015, including Natural Disasters and Snowfall. The newest expansion, Mass Transit, will be arriving next month, Paradox Interactive has announced. The expansion adds many new transit options to the game, including ferries, blimps, cable cars, and monorails, along with options for new mass transit hubs, new road types, bridges, canals, and more.

Mass Transit arrives on May 18th at a cost of $12.99.

You can check out the list of new features, per the announcement, below:

The Road to Riches: Ferries, blimps, cable cars, and monorails help move your citizens around town, and get their money into your city's coffers.
Home is where the Hub is: The transit hub connects all your transit together, letting citizens ail lines in one building, or hop from the bus onto the ferry, or even find their way through a sprawling monorail-train-metro station.
The Traffic Must Flow: New scenarios will test your traffic management skills and transit system vision. New road types, bridges and canals adds variety to your city, and new ways to solve its challenges. Become an expert in traffic flow, and then use that knowledge to improve your city!
New Hats for Chirper: No expansion is complete without some new hats for fictional birds!

In other Cities: Skylines news, the game hits Xbox One later this month on April 21. Cities: Skylines - Xbox One Edition will release along with the nightlife-focused expansion "After Dark," and will set players back $39.99

Finally, something that can actually make the game worth playing again. The traffic simulation aspect of this game has been woefully neglected since release.

I always ended up giving up on cities once they got to a certain size, the traffic always ended up being a nightmare no matter what I tried. Read the guides, got the mods. Carefully laid out subways and bus routes didn't seem to help very much.

This DLC looks very good. This is a good thing for the game.
